What is Wish Week?

We couldn't be more excited to announce our first ever Wish Week! The members of Tau Alpha will spend Monday, October 12th - Friday, October 16th fundraising for The Make-A-Wish Foundation. All proceeds will go towards granting a child's wish through Make-A-Wish.

The average cost for granting a child's wish is $8,000. All of the fundraising done last spring semester brought us closer than ever to reaching our goal of granting a wish. It is our hope to raise the additional funds needed to grant a wish during Wish Week!

Our week will look a little something like this:

Monday (10/12): Meet us at the top of Baker from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

You can see us there handing out flyers, asking for donations, giving out Make-A-Wish bracelets, selling tickets for Scoop-A-Dish for Make-A-Wish, and providing more information about our philanthropy!

Tuesday (10/13): Eat Wings, Raise Funds at Buffalo Wild Wings

Be sure to grab a fundraising flyer from a Chi Omega and stop in to Buffalo Wild Wings on West Union Street. Before paying your bill, make sure to show your server your flyer. A percentage of your check will then be donated back toward Make-A-Wish! This is an all day event.

Wednesday (10/14): Scoop-A-Dish for Make-A-Wish

We will be selling your favorite flavors from Coldstone Creamery Ice Cream at 10 South College Street (Chi Omega House) from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. One ticket is good for one bowl of ice cream.

Tickets are $3. Please contact a Chi Omega prior to the event to purchase your ticket.

Thursday (10/15): Cheesin' With Chi O

Come find us on Court Street selling Grilled Cheese from 10:00 p.m. - 2:30 a.m.

Grilled cheese will only be $1.  Stop by and grab one before they're gone!

Friday (10/16): Blue Dress Gala

The sisters of Chi Omega will be celebrating all of their hard work fundraising at Chi Omega's first ever Blue Dress Gala.

We would love to see as many people involved with our Wish Week as possible! Please contact Gabby Gamad at gabbygamad@gmail.com or Flannery Chapman at fc362911@ohio.edu

with any questions.

XO,

Chi Omega Tau Alpha
